MJSA Expo registration opens with new Buyer’s Link Concierge Service

Online registration is now open for MJSA Expo, the longest-running trade show dedicated to professional excellence in jewelry making and design, and it features a new service to better connect buyers and exhibitors.

The Buyer’s Link Concierge Service allows all buyers to identify, during the registration process, the products and services for which they’ll be shopping at Expo. MJSA then passes along that information to relevant exhibitors, and the buyers receive a list of those companies that can meet their needs.

“This concierge touch helps to streamline the shopping experience and is a ‘win-win’ for everyone,” says David W. Cochran, president/CEO of Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America, the trade alliance that presents MJSA Expo annually. “It creates one more point of contact between our exhibitors and their customers, and those connections ultimately lead to relationships – the foundation for all sales.”

MJSA Expo will take place March 20-22 at the Javits Center in New York City, where it will run simultaneously with the JA New York show. Expo will again feature everything needed to design, make, and sell great jewelry – from chain, components, and gems to alloys, bench tools, and production technologies, all offered by the industry’s most renowned suppliers. To register and learn more, go to MJSAExpo.org.

The Story Behind the Stone: Metal Mashup

Reading Time: 6 minutes I have to confess I just learned about electrum when this topic crawled up on my radar. We love the wide range of jewelry metals today that give consumers tremendous options for creating the exact piece of their dreams. Metal alloys are some of the more exciting variations for imaginative jewelry designers to work with.
