Sam Broekema appointed editor in chief of Only Natural Diamonds

(NEW YORK)Only Natural Diamonds, the consumer-facing, multi-channel digital platform powered by Natural Diamond Council is delighted to announce the appointment of Sam Broekema to Editor in Chief. This is a newly created role for the brand-agnostic natural diamond inspiration and information authority.

Only Natural Diamonds (OND) is the digital destination for audiences to immerse in the mystical and exciting world of natural diamonds that gained over 130M unique visitors in 2021 globally. Dually operating as a content publisher and advertiser, Only Natural Diamonds’ brand ambassador and current campaign star is Hollywood actress, Ana de Armas. Broekema will oversee the content strategy for Only Natural Diamonds across digital platforms and ideation of creative content angles with cultural relevance to further the modern diamond dream. He will lead the orchestration of OND’s annual Trend Report by composing a yearly Style Collective of esteemed jewelry editors, influencers, retailers, and stylists.

Broekema was most recently at In Style where he served as Fashion Market and Accessories Director since 2016. He also held longtime roles at both Harper’s Bazaar and Vanity Fair. He has in-depth experience in the fashion, accessories, and jewelry spaces and has been a diamond jewelry devotee and expert throughout his editorial career.

“I am honored to become the first Editor of Only Natural Diamonds. I am excited to conceptualize what both modern and heirloom jewelry mean for consumers now, and celebrate the long and rich history of diamonds in culture, fashion, and the arts,” said Broekema.
