AV Diamonds receives “Great Place to Work” Certification

(HOUSTON) – AV Diamonds, a leader in fine diamond jewelry manufacturing serving 10,000 retailers in the US and Canada, proudly announces the company has received a Great Place to Work Certification. Great Place to Work is a global authority on workplace culture. Since 1992, they have surveyed more than 100 million employees around the world and used those deep insights to define what makes a great workplace. This data is used to recognize Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies in the USA and more than 60 countries.

Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. Analyzing these experiences is relative to each company’s size, workforce makeup, and what’s typical relative to their peers in the industry. The remaining 15% of the rank is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders. The survey platform empowers leaders with feedback, real-time reporting, and insights they need to make strategic people decisions.

100% of the employees at AV Diamonds stated it is a great place to work, compared to 57% of employees at a typical US-based company. Employee surveys showed AV Diamonds is a great workplace – citing trust, pride, and camaraderie which fuels their business.

AV Diamonds employee Ali Butt stated, “We are given equal opportunities for growth and unlimited success, making our possibilities.”

Vinay Kotak, founder, and president of AV Diamonds commented: “We are only as good as our team, and our team is a reflection of our leadership, hence making it a great place to work. By listening to our team members and hearing their needs, we can make sure our response meets them where they are. It’s a valuable resource.”

The Story Behind the Stone: Metal Mashup

Reading Time: 6 minutes I have to confess I just learned about electrum when this topic crawled up on my radar. We love the wide range of jewelry metals today that give consumers tremendous options for creating the exact piece of their dreams. Metal alloys are some of the more exciting variations for imaginative jewelry designers to work with.
