It is the distinct pleasure of the Board of the IDCA (Indian Diamond & ColorStone Association) to announce IDCA will be donating $25,000+, to Jewelers for Children at the IDCA Las Vegas Gala. The Gala will be held Saturday, June 11th, 2022, from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Venetian Hotel.
This year IDCA will be celebrating their 38th Annual Gala. IDCA has had a long-standing tradition of honoring key industry persons and organizations that have made meaningful contributions to the industry and society as well as supporting charities that make a positive impact in our world.
“IDCA has always endeavored to contribute to and support the industry,” said IDCA president Rajeev Pandya (Ashi Diamonds). “Coming through the last two years of the pandemic and despite the odds, the jewelry industry has done extremely well and the IDCA board decided to give back to those in need.”
Established in 1984, the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association (IDCA) is a not-for-profit organization formed to associate its members dealing mainly in diamonds, color stones and jewelry for their mutual benefit. Based in New York, IDCA membership consists primarily of diamantaires, colored stone dealers and jewelers from India. Jewelers for Children was founded in 1999 by the U.S. jewelry industry with the mission of helping children in need. Since its inception, JFC has donated nearly $60 million to programs benefiting children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect through charity partners St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Make-A-Wish® America, and the National CASA/GAL Association. JFC also provides support to Make-A-Wish® International, and the Organization for Autism Research.
