Barakà’s 316L Collection of stainless steel jewelry is inspired by the architecture of the Chrysler Building in Manhattan, specifically its antenna spire, that made the building the tallest skyscraper in the world in 1930.
The exact same material that was used for the spire is used in this collection: 316L steel, which makes this jewelry highly resistant to corrosion and enhances its shine. For every single jewel there are over 100 braided steel cables, which create unique shiny finishings and high resistance to strain. All jewels are enriched by black or white diamonds handset in gold or refined steel elements.
The history of the Chrysler Building in Manhattan dates back to the early days of the fortune of Walter Percy Chrysler, who started as an apprentice machinist at the Union Pacific Railroad and gradually became one of the most famous automobile manufacturers in the world.
