“It is with great joy that Darling Imports celebrates 30 years of supplying the jewelry industry with color gemstones!” says third generation Konrad Darling, company Chief Operating Officer. From humble beginnings in a basement in Hampton, Georgia, Harold “Mr. D” Darling, Harold A. Darling, and Konrad Darling, started what began as an importer of Italian leather goods, which grew into a trusted and respected color gemstone supplier. The Darlings started Darling Imports with a focus on exceptional service and a passion for spreading the love of colored gemstones. As the years have gone by, the company has grown, but their original goal remains the same.

For 30 years, Darling Imports has taken pride in educating their customers through friendly service and knowledge of current markets. Along with a steadfast company policy of no obligation to buy and all stones available on memo, the company strives to be the “go-to” call for color. “We’re a family business and truly believe our customers are an extension of that. We want to make sure you’re taken care of,” said Konrad.

“While we are excited to celebrate this huge milestone, this wouldn’t be possible without our incredible customers and buying groups. For 30 years you’ve supported us and it is our pleasure to return the favor.”

“From the crew at Darling Imports: Thank you to all our customers, as well as RJO and IJO, for the incredible support and trusting us to help with your customer’s journey of buying that perfect piece of jewelry. We look forward to many more years of continuing serving this fabulous community. From all of us at Darling Imports, we say thank you for allowing us to celebrate thirty magical years together!”

The Story Behind the Stone: Metal Mashup

Reading Time: 6 minutes I have to confess I just learned about electrum when this topic crawled up on my radar. We love the wide range of jewelry metals today that give consumers tremendous options for creating the exact piece of their dreams.
