(APPLETON, Wisc.) – With the economy slowing down and retailers having to arm their staff with no-nonsense management practices, Jimmy DeGroot and Brad Huisken are hosting their biannual Sales Management Master Class beginning August 9th. “This class has been highly attended in the past and each time we hold it, we learn of the desperate need among independent jewelers to have solid management practices that are used by the biggest retailers around,” says DeGroot. “Jewelers are always thanking us and sharing their success stories.”
The class is designed for owner/managers as well as managers and brings them through a curriculum of best practices that have been taught by Huisken for years and DeGroot has implemented in several stores. “The results are usually exponential as stores move from day to day management by the seat of their pants to a program utilizing regular metrics and team building,” says Huisken. “It’s fun seeing managers be freed up to actually enjoy their work knowing they can bring their team through an actual management plan and have significant growth.”
The class is a 12 week class one hour a week and includes training videos to show the salespeople staff that directly correlate to what the manager learns. “Everyone is on the same page and growing together!” says DeGroot. “We’ll start up August 9th and finish up right before Halloween.”
