National Jeweler announces 2022 Retailer Hall of Fame inductees

(NEW YORK) – National Jeweler has inducted six seasoned jewelry retailers into its Retailer Hall of Fame. The 2022 inductees are Christina Gandia Gambale and Jennifer Gandia of Greenwich St. Jewelers, Paul Schneider and Lauren Eulau of Twist, and Harvey and Maddy Rovinsky of Bernie Robbins Jewelers.

“The six jewelers making up the Class of 2022 are all seasoned professionals that each bring something distinct to the area of retail. The Retailer Hall of Fame issue will enable readers to take a deeper look into their businesses and learn how they have become leaders in their field,” said National Jeweler Editor-in-Chief Michelle Graff.

National Jeweler will be releasing the digital version of the Retailer Hall of Fame magazine and mailing the print edition in mid-October.

The publication’s 2022 inductees include:

Christina Gandia Gambale and Jennifer Gandia of Greenwich St. Jewelers
Christina Gandia Gambale and Jennifer Gandia have always believed in the power of jewelry. As children born to parents who founded the original Greenwich St. Jewelers back in 1976, the co-owners have used their lifelong passion for adornment to lead and evolve the beloved family brand. Together, they have made Greenwich St. a prominent destination for visionary jewelry designers and discerning clients looking to invest in fresh, exciting designs with a distinctive point of view. Since they began their shared leadership 14 years ago, Greenwich St. Jewelers has experienced exponential growth including the opening of a new location in New York’s TriBeCa neighborhood.

Single-Store Independent
Paul Schneider and Lauren Eulau of Twist
Paul Schneider and Lauren Eulau took an unconventional route to the jewelry industry. Both craftspeople in Eugene, Oregon in the mid ‘70s; their first business was a co-op of artists selling their own work. The business evolved over the decades to become a nationally recognized market for designer jewelry representing over 100 jewelers with stores in Portland, Oregon and Seattle as well as a robust web business at twistonline.com. Twist was the 2020 recipient of the GEM Award for Retail Excellence.

Multi-Store Independent
Harvey and Maddy Rovinsky of Bernie Robbins Jewelers
Bernie Robbins was established in 1962 by Bernie and Lorraine Rosenburg. Then an appliance store, it was in 1966 that Harvey Rovinsky joined his future parents-in-law at the store. Harvey married Maddy and together they helped steward the company through a series of incarnations. In 1992 they transformed Bernie Robbins Jewelers, now with five locations in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Harvey and Maddy’s leadership has ensured Bernie Robbins provides unparalleled expertise and an exceptional customer shopping experience in a warm, comfortable atmosphere where it’s not uncommon to see Maddy and Harvey’s granddaughters. After all, it is a family business.
