Only Natural Diamonds unveils Winter Digital Cover starring Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actress, Kathryn Newton

Reading Time: 3 minutes

(NEW YORK) – Only Natural Diamonds (OND), the premiere digital destination for consumers to dive into the universe of natural diamonds powered by Natural Diamond Council, has released its latest digital cover starring American actress, Kathryn Newton.

Known for her roles in projects such as Big Little Lies and Ladybird, Ms. Newton will star in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania as Cassie Lang, opposite Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily on February 17th. She shines in a colorful editorial reminiscent of the vibrant energy of 90s supermodels laced with Y2K edge and dripping with natural diamonds, of course.

Ms. Newton led the story concept and channeled her upbringing in Y2K-era Miami, where bright colors paired with diamonds reigned supreme. Drawing inspiration from Claudia Schiffer and Elizabeth Taylor, she proves that “diamonds go with everything.”

“We are beyond excited to share this cover with Kathryn Newton and celebrate her Marvel debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” says Editor in Chief of Only Natural Diamonds, Sam Broekema. “The mood on set was utter joy; Kathryn is an absolute gem to shoot. From the moment she mentioned her love of the nineties supermodels, we knew it needed to be bright with statement natural diamonds. The colors and sparkling jewels helped her embody a strong  and genuine confidence. The story is a celebration of her inspiration that mirrors our belief that diamonds, whether big or small, are fun and meant to be worn and enjoyed.”

Shot at Milk Studios in Los Angeles by Emman Montalvan, the cover is accompanied by an interview by Christine Whitney as well as a comprehensive editorial spread styled by Molly Dickson, with hair and makeup provided by Renato Campora and Gina Brooke respectively.

Additional jewelry brands incorporated include Bulgari, Cartier, Casey Perez Jewelry (an alumna in NDC’s Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative), Chanel, David Webb, Heart The Stones (an alumna in NDC’s Emerging Designers Diamond Initiative), Hyde Park Jewelers (an Official Partner of the NDC), Lorraine West, Messika, Ondyn, Pomellato, Seaman Schepps, and Vhernier.

The Story Behind the Stone: Metal Mashup

Reading Time: 6 minutes I have to confess I just learned about electrum when this topic crawled up on my radar. We love the wide range of jewelry metals today that give consumers tremendous options for creating the exact piece of their dreams. Metal alloys are some of the more exciting variations for imaginative jewelry designers to work with. These options better reflect the tastes of a client and help them to personalize their jewelry, making it truly unique to them. Electrum was usually called white gold in antiquity. But more accurately it was described as pale gold since ...
