Dancer is a 3-year-old Pit-Bull/Labrador mix that works at Thurber Jewelers in Elk River, Minnesota. She was born into a litter of eight puppies, all were named after Santa’s Reindeer.  Erik Thurber, CEO of Thurber Jewelers, rescued her from the Humane Society and chose to keep the fitting name. “She is our tiny Dancer!” says Andi Fox-Preston, GM at the store. Dancer’s nickname, Professional Trouble Maker, came after her second ‘rescue’ when a Michigan cliff rappelling team had to save her after a frozen waterfall adventure with her humans went awry. She loves greeting visitors to the store, playing tug of war and fetch with the Thurber team, and curling up for naps under a desk.
