(RIYADH) – On the occasion of the inaugural Timeology Nights, taking place from October 9 to 13, 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, Kerbedanz is pleased to announce its new partnership with 10Ten Labs, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading destinations dedicated to independent watchmaking.

To celebrate the beginning of this collaboration, Kerbedanz and 10Ten Labs unveil two special editions created exclusively for the Saudi retailer: the 65’27’’ Khozama – 10Ten Labs Edition, featuring a natural Charoite dial, and the MAXSPOR GR8 41mm Wahaj – 10Ten Labs Edition, distinguished by its warm salmon-toned guilloché dial and Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals.

Two creations, two distinct expressions of contemporary Haute Horlogerie, united by a common ambition: to bring together Swiss mechanical craftsmanship and cultural inspiration drawn from Saudi Arabia.

The partnership also reflects Kerbedanz’s continued international development and its commitment to building meaningful relationships with leading collectors, partners, and watchmaking communities worldwide.

A New Chapter in Saudi Arabia

Founded in Riyadh in 2021 by entrepreneur, investor, and watch collector Khaled Zainalabedin, 10Ten Labs has established itself as a destination for independent watchmaking, bringing together a carefully curated selection of exceptional timepieces while developing creations inspired by Saudi Arabia’s culture and heritage.

The partnership with Kerbedanz reflects a shared vision of watchmaking centered on individuality, creativity, rarity and storytelling.

Khaled Zainalabedin, Founder & Managing Director of 10Ten Labs, said: “We are proud to become the official retailer for KERBEDANZ in Saudi Arabia. The brand’s vision, combining mechanical creativity, distinctive design and meaningful storytelling, deeply resonates with our philosophy at 10tenlabs. We believe this makes Kerbedanz a perfect fit for the Saudi market, where collectors increasingly seek individuality, craftsmanship and a personal connection to their timepieces. Khozama and Wahaj bring this shared vision to life, uniting Swiss watchmaking with Saudi inspiration, and we are delighted to unveil them at Timeology Nights in Riyadh.”

Vahé Vartzbed, the CEO of KERBEDANZ, commented: “Saudi Arabia has become an increasingly important and sophisticated market for independent watchmaking, driven by collectors with genuine knowledge, curiosity and passion. We immediately felt a strong connection with the vision of 10Ten Labs and their approach to creating meaningful bridges between contemporary watchmaking and Saudi culture. Launching our partnership through two exclusive creations was therefore particularly natural. Khozama and Wahaj each tell a different story, but both embody what Kerbedanz stands for: strong identity, mechanical expression and emotion.”

65’27’’ Khozama – 10ten Labs Edition

A natural expression of Saudi color

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant purple tones of Khozama, the Arabic name associated with lavender, the 65’27’’ Khozama – 10Ten Labs Edition celebrates nature through one of KERBEDANZ’s most contemporary creations.

At the center of the composition lies an exceptional Charoite stone dial, whose naturally occurring shades of violet, lavender and purple make every dial visually unique, supported by Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals.

The gemstone’s expressive texture creates an ever-changing dialogue with light, recalling the intense purple hues of lavender fields while giving the watch a strong mineral character.

Built around the architectural proportions of the 65’27’’ 38mm, the Khozama edition brings together the contemporary elegance of the collection with the organic beauty of natural stone.

More than a chromatic interpretation, the piece connects Swiss watchmaking craftsmanship with a visual language inspired by the Saudi landscape.

Maxspor Gr8 41mm Wahaj – 10ten Labs Edition

Radiance, reinterpreted through color and guilloché

The second creation developed for the partnership takes its name from “Wahaj”, or Radiance. Inspired by the contemporary architecture of the MAXSPOR GR8 41mm, the Wahaj edition introduces a warm salmon-colored guilloché dial whose surface captures and reflects light through its intricate decorative pattern.

Luminous tones are complemented by Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals, reinforcing the creation’s cultural identity while preserving the bold, modern character of the MAXSPOR GR8.

The result is a watch that feels both contemporary and deeply expressive: an encounter between distinctive case architecture, traditional decorative craftsmanship and cultural detail. Like its name, Wahaj is defined by light, changing as the dial moves and revealing different nuances of salmon, copper, and rose depending on its surroundings.

Two Creations, One Shared Vision

Although radically different in character, Khozama and Wahaj share the same creative philosophy.

One draws its identity from the unpredictable beauty of natural stone; the other from the precision and rhythm of guilloché. One expresses depth through purple mineral tones; the other captures warmth and radiance through salmon. Together, they embody a dialogue between Swiss Haute Horlogerie and Saudi cultural expression, conceived specifically for 10Ten Labs and its community of collectors.

Unveiled at Timeology Nights 2026

The two special editions will be presented during the inaugural Timeology Nights, held from October 9 to 13, 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh.

More than a traditional exhibition, Timeology Nights brings together international maisons, independent watchmakers, collectors, and enthusiasts around watchmaking, craftsmanship, education, and cultural exchange. Its inaugural edition also emphasizes special projects, novelties, and limited editions developed for the Saudi collector community. KERBEDANZ’s participation provides a meaningful setting to announce the partnership with 10Ten Labs and reveal the first two creations from this collaboration.

Elongated Diamond Shapes Are Taking Over Jewelry

Reading Time: 9 minutes Key takeaways • Elongated diamond shapes like ovals, marquise, pears, baguettes, cushions, and radiants are dominating consumer demand and shifting retailer buying patterns away from traditional round cuts. • These shapes provide strong finger coverage and create the optical illusion of a larger stone face-up compared to round diamonds of the same carat weight. • The trend is significantly accelerated by the accessibility of lab-created diamonds, allowing buyers to select larger proportions and higher carat weights. For decades, the round brilliant diamond remained the undisputed leader of jewelry. It was the traditional standard for engagement rings, bridal jewelry, and many fine jewelry collections, prized for its timelessness and unmatched brilliance. But over the last several years, the market has undergone a dramatic transformation. Today, elongated diamond cuts, particularly oval, marquise, pear, baguette, and elongated cushion and radiant c...

The Retailer’s Perspective: It’s Showtime (Again)!

I just got home from the Atlanta Jewelry Show, and thought I’d share some thoughts and discoveries with everyone from the show. Here’s what you missed if you haven’t been to a trade show in a while. First and foremost… They are fun! The really cool thing about a trade show is the interaction with your longtime friends and business associates. I’ve got friends in this business that I’ve known for 43 years. Many of those friends I’ve only seen face-to-face 43 times – always at a trade show . A jewelry trade show is a hands-on experience. Most days I’m at the point that I don’t want to look at another piece of jewelry on a phone or computer screen. I don’t care how many pics you take, and how many angles you shoot it from, you never really capture the essence of the piece. Being real jewelers , we know the only way to evaluate, and assess, a piece’s true quality and workmanship is to hold it in our hands. A jewelry trade show is a full blown, hands-on, experience. We’ve all bought jew...
