The faces of the 2026 JuryReading Time: 3 minutes
Key takeaways

• The 2026 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) unveiled its 24-member Jury, led by President Wei Koh, to physically evaluate competing timepieces.

• A total of 20 prizes, including the prestigious “”Aiguille d’Or”” Grand Prix, will be awarded at the ceremony on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in Geneva.

• The GPHG Academy, consisting of over 1,000 watch industry stakeholders, contributes a digital vote accounting for one-third of the final results.

Meeting behind closed doors under the leadership of their president a few days before the awards ceremony, the 24 personalities from the world of watchmaking and the arts composing the 2026 Jury will physically evaluate the competing timepieces to determine this year’s winners by secret ballot and under notarial supervision.

The faces of the 2026 Jury

Half the Jury is drawn by lot from the GPHG Academy, while the Jury president chooses the other half.

The 2026 Jury president, Wei Koh, said: “It is not lost on us that we, the Jury, have a formidable task ahead, given the incredible creativity of the timepieces on the running this year, and in particular with two fully open prizes, such as the Iconic Watch Prize, where our challenge will be to discern the timepiece with the best emblematic qualities from the entirety of the watch industry. The Jury comprises some of modern horology’s most passionate and discerning scholars, collectors and experts, and we are fully committed and ready to rise to the occasion.”

Comprising over a thousand key watch industry stakeholders, the Academy also helps select the winners through a digital vote that accounts for one-third of the final result. See the full list of Jury members at gphg.org
